Maceo Caudle has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Maceo started their career at Raytheon in 1976 as a Computer Programmer before moving on to work as a Computer Programmer/Analyst at Wang Labs in 1978. Maceo then worked as a Senior Computer Programmer/Analyst at Ashland Inc in 1979 and as a Project Manager at Coca-Cola Enterprises in 1980.
In 1981, Caudle joined Rollins, Inc. as a Supervisor of DBA & System Programming before transitioning to a role as Lead Database Administrator at Lockheed Martin from 1985 to 1987. Maceo then worked as an IT Manager of Database Administration (Mainframe - IMS, CICS, DB2) at SunTrust Bank from 1987 to 1995 and as an IT Manager of Database Administration (DB2 LUW) at GeoLogics Corporation from 1995 to 2001.
Caudle then became the Owner/President of World's Finest Autos from 1995 to 2002, where they were responsible for creating innovative and responsible auto leasing and loan programs. Maceo later returned to Rollins, Inc. in 2002 as a Senior DBA, where they led database architecture and implementation projects and identified strategic goals for database backup and disaster recovery. Maceo then progressed to the roles of Senior IT Manager of Database Services and IT Director of IBM Power Systems & Database Services.
Throughout their career, Caudle has demonstrated their expertise in various technologies including DB2 LUW, DB2/400, MS SQL Server, Oracle, Netezza, IMS, CICS, and Azure. Maceo has also developed and enforced policies and procedures designed to ensure stable, secure, and reliable systems and data strategies to meet operational goals.
Maceo Caudle obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University in the years 1973 to 1977. Maceo also participated in the Cooperative Education Program in Computer Science at both Fitchburg State University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the years 1975 to 1976.
