Eino Mäkitalo

Eino Mäkitalo has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Eino is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Rome Blockchain Labs Inc. since May 2020. Prior to this position, they worked at Aviapartio ry. as a Scouting/Youth group leader, where they managed weekly groups, led camps, and handled membership management.

From 2016 to 2021, Eino worked as a Software Architect at Eficode. Eino was involved in challenging and fun projects, following Eficode principles of DevOps and testing. During their tenure, the company grew from less than 100 employees to over 400.

From 1995 to 2017, Eino Mäkitalo was a Partner at Oy NetItBe Ltd, their own consulting company. Eino provided IT consulting services including software architecture and system integration. Eino also had a role as a Lead Architect/Security Manager at Openmobile, a startup company, from 2000 to 2002.

Eino's previous experiences include working at Postipankki/Tietoleonia as a Software Architect, Mediconsult as a "Hard worker" selling healthcare software, and the University of Helsinki as an Assistant/Worker, teaching courses related to C-language and distributed systems.

Eino began their career as a Ruuhka-apulainen (microcomputer support) at Postipankki in 1986. Eino also had a summer job in 1985 at the City of Lahti/City Planning Department, where they utilized spreadsheet software and implemented basic/assembler functions to produce business graphics.

Throughout their career, Eino Mäkitalo has gained valuable experience in various domains, including software architecture, IT consulting, leadership, and teaching.

Eino Mäkitalo obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc) degree in Computer Science from the University of Helsinki. Eino pursued their education at the university from 1983 to 2008.
