Kicky van Leeuwen

Kicky van Leeuwen is an accomplished professional in the fields of artificial intelligence and healthcare, currently serving as co-owner and consultant at Romion Health, where the focus is on facilitating the responsible use of AI-based medical software. Kicky is the founder and maintainer of Health AI Register, a comprehensive listing of CE-marked AI software for radiology, and has held roles including ambassador and technical expert at Scarlet. With a PhD in the validation and implementation of AI in radiology from Radboudumc, achieved with cum laude distinction, Kicky has contributed to various initiatives, including a working group for AI quality standards in healthcare and significant research experience at prestigious institutions such as Massachusetts General Hospital. Kicky's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Technical Medicine from the University of Twente, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree from the same institution.
