Floretta Marino

Assistant Principal at Romulus Community Schools

Floretta Marino is an experienced educator and administrator, currently serving as Principal at Romulus High School since February 2019 and Assistant Principal at Romulus Community Schools since November 2013. Floretta has a long-standing career in education, having held positions as Administrator/Dean of Academies and Teacher at Inkster Public Schools since August 2000, and as a Teacher at Romulus Community High School from July 1996 to August 2000. Additionally, Floretta is the Chief Academic Officer at The Marino Group, a position held since April 2010. Floretta earned a Ph.D. in Educational Studies with a focus on Urban Education and Leadership from Eastern Michigan University between 2013 and 2017, along with a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from the same institution from 2001 to 2004. Education commenced at Romulus High School, graduating in 1988, and continues at Harvard College since 2012.
