Stuart Muir

Stuart Muir is an experienced equine podiatrist and farrier currently serving as a Resident Farrier/Podiatrist/Hoof Care Provider at Rood & Riddle Equine Hospital since May 2012. Muir previously held the role of President at The Northeast Association of Equine Practitioners from September 2021 to September 2022. Prior to joining Rood & Riddle, Muir operated a full farriery service for sport horse clientele from 1999 to April 2012. Muir's educational qualifications include a Diploma with the Worshipful Company of Farriers, certifications as a Journeyman Farrier and Certified Farrier from the American Farriers Association, and a New Zealand Certificate in Equine Farriery.
