Pooja Vinayak Sharma

Pooja Vinayak Sharma has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Pooja Vinayak began their career in 2002 as a Consultant-HR at CARE. From there, they moved on to become an HR Manager at Planet Retail Holdings Pvt Ltd. In 2006, they joined Strategic Alliance Management Services as an Associate Director. In 2010, Pooja became a Regional Human Resources Manager at Oxfam GB. In 2012, they took on the role of Head-Organizational Development and Training at the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Centre (CIMMYT). Pooja Vinayak then transitioned to Room to Read as a Director HR, Asia in 2014, and worked their way up to become a Senior Director, People Operations. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President, Global People Operations at Room to Read.

Pooja Vinayak Sharma obtained a Master's degree in Human Resource and Organizational Development from Delhi School of Economics, from 1996 to 1998.
