Sunny Malhotra

Sunny Malhotra has a diverse work experience, starting with their current position as a Research Associate at the Roosevelt Institute since 2022. Prior to this, Malhotra worked as an Inclusive Economic Development Associate at New Growth Innovation Network from 2021 to 2022. They also served as a Research Assistant at the Charles and Louise Travers Department of Political Science at the University of California Berkeley from 2020 to 2021. Malhotra's involvement with the Undergraduate Political Science Association began in 2019, where they eventually became Co-President and held the position until 2021. They also worked as a Research Assistant at the Department of Economics, UC Berkeley from 2020 to 2020. Additionally, Malhotra gained experience as a Writer at the Berkeley Political Review from 2018 to 2019, and as a Campaign Intern at Jason Rittereiser for Congress in 2018. Prior to that, they worked as a Law Clerk at Hoover Law Group in 2017 and as an Intern for Congressman Adam Smith in 2016.

Sunny Malhotra pursued their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley, from 2018 to 2021.
