Yifan Kong

Yifan Kong is an Associate at Root Cause. She is a 2018 graduate of Harvard University, where she studied environmental science and public policy. At Harvard, Yifan was president of the Harvard Association for U.S.-China Relations and directed two international summits focused on youth leadership and social innovation in China. In addition, she directed and taught for a K-12 music outreach program in Cambridge and was a member of the Harvard University Figure Skating Club. Prior to Root Cause, Yifan completed internships with organizations including Ashoka, the New Jersey State Department of Environmental Protection, and the University of Rochester Laboratory for Laser Energetics.
