Xi Chen

Xi Chen is the Co-Founder and CEO of RootPath. Xi was previously a R&D Scientist at Ultivue, Inc., and a Jane Coffin Childs Postdoctoral Fellow at the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering at Harvard University, where they worked in the lab of Dr. Peng Yin on the application of DNA circuitry in early cancer detection. Xi also led a research group as a CPRIT Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Texas at Austin, tackling theoretical and practical problems in applying DNA circuitry to molecular diagnostics and synthetic biology.

Xi Chen completed a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology at Shanghai Jiao Tong University before coming to the United States for their Ph.D. in Biochemistry at The University of Texas at Austin.
