Valeria Viera has a strong background in human resources and people management. Valeria currently holds the position of VP of People Care at Rootstrap since June 2018. Prior to this, they worked at Mercadolibre.com as a Regional Supervisor HR Business Partner from July 2017 to June 2018 and as a Senior Analyst - HR Business Partner from November 2015 to August 2017. Valeria also served as the People and Interactions Manager at WyeWorks from October 2014 to December 2015. Before that, they were the Human Resources Manager at UruIT Global IT Services from May 2011 to September 2014. Valeria'sprofessional experience also includes working as an Asistente Ejecutiva - Nuevos Emprendimientos at Cuti - Cámara Uruguaya de Tecnologías de la Información from July 2008 to May 2011, and as a Secretaría técnica at ROYTRONIC - Sistemas Integrales de seguridad from November 2005 to July 2008.

Valeria Viera's education history begins in 2005 when they attended the Universidad de la República and received their bachelor's degree in Psychology, specializing in Labor Psychology, in 2010. Valeria then pursued further education and completed a Master's degree in Human Resources Management at Universidad ORT Uruguay from 2014 to 2016. In 2013, Valeria also obtained certifications in Coaching Empresarial from Trascender and as a Certified Scrum Master from Scum Alliance. Additionally, they completed a coaching program in High Performance at Trascender from 2012 to 2013.
