Bryan Chin

Bryan Chin has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several decades. Bryan currently works as a Lecturer at the University of California San Diego since April 2017. Prior to this, Bryan held the role of VP Engineering at OnRamp BioInformatics starting May 2016. Bryan also worked as a Distinguished Engineer at Cavium Networks from June 2010 to May 2016. Before this, Bryan held the position of Principal Engineer at PMC-Sierra from June 1993 to December 2005. Bryan also worked as a Principal Engineer at Quantum Effect Devices (QED) from 1994 to 2001 and as a Member Technical Staff at Microunity Systems Engineering from February 1992 to June 1993. Bryan started their career as a Member Technical Staff at Mips Computer Systems in 1989 and later at MIPS Computers from 1987 to 1992. Bryan also has experience as an MTS at sun microsystems from 1986 to 1988.

Bryan Chin completed their ScB in Engineering from Brown University, where they studied from 1981 to 1985. Bryan then pursued further education at Stanford University, where they obtained an MSEE in Engineering between 1985 and 1986.
