Evan Wallace

Evan Wallace began their career in 2021 as an Intermediate Software Engineer at Rose Rocket. Prior to that, they attended the Web Development Immersive Bootcamp at Juno College of Technology in 2020, where they created a portfolio of projects using modern best practices in HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, JavaScript (jQuery + React), and Firebase. These projects included Sapling, a simple, React-powered plant journal that allowed users to create and persistently store information cards about their houseplants.

Evan Wallace completed a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from McGill University between 2009 and 2013. Evan then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Molecular Genetics at the University of Toronto between 2013 and 2016. Following this, they completed a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at the University of Toronto from 2016 to 2018. Most recently, they attended a Web Development Immersive Bootcamp at Juno College of Technology in 2020, where they studied Front-End Web Development.
