Javier Sanchez Mejorada

Javier Sanchez Mejorada has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2016 when they were a Junior Electrical Engineer for the Queen's University Supermilage Design Team. In 2017, they were a Sponsorship Coordinator for the Queen's Global Energy Conference (QGEC) and a Terminal Attendant for BC Ferries. In 2018, they were a Sales Manager for Campus Equipment Outfitters, a Co-Founder for Burst Events, and a Teaching Assistant for Mayesbrook Park School. In 2019, they were a Business Development Intern for Society Socks. In 2020, they were a Co-Founder & Head of Product at afino.io, which was acquired, and an intern at the Dunin-Deshpande Queen's Innovation Centre. Currently, they are a Product Manager at Rose Rocket.

Javier Sanchez Mejorada completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Computer Engineering from Queen's University - Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science between 2016 and 2020. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Health and Safety Awareness from British Columbia Ferries in June 2017, Workplace Hazardous Material Information System from Queen's University in October 2016, and CPR-C Certification from Vancouver College in April 2015.
