Caroline Overgoor

Caroline Overgoor has a diverse work experience. Caroline is currently serving as the Head of Design at Roseman Labs since November 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Sendcloud from 2018 to 2022, starting as a UX Designer and eventually becoming a UX Lead and UX Manager. Caroline'srole at Sendcloud involved introducing and building the first UX team, implementing user-centered design practices, and scaling the UX team. Before Sendcloud, Caroline worked at Puppet Empire as a Product Development Engineer and Product Researcher in 2017-2018. Caroline also had a role as a Steunlesdocent / Surveillant at KlasseStudent in 2017-2018, where they provided various educational support activities in secondary schools. In 2015-2018, Caroline worked as a Studio Medewerker at EuFlex TU/e, where they filmed, edited, and delivered educational videos for international purposes. Caroline started their career as a Waitress at Stadsherberg 't Pumpke from 2010 to 2017 and at Brasserie Meprise from 2007 to 2010.

Caroline Overgoor completed their education with a Master's degree in Industrial Design from Eindhoven University of Technology, where they studied from 2016 to 2018. Prior to their master's, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design from the same university, studying from 2012 to 2016. Caroline also participated in an exchange program at Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark for one year in 2015, focusing on Integrated Design. In addition, Caroline attended a summer school at Zhejiang University in 2015, where they studied Business Design. Recently, they completed an online course on Leadership Principles from Harvard Business School Online in 2022.

Caroline's commitment to professional development is evident in their additional certifications. Caroline obtained a UX Certification and became UX Management Certified from the Nielsen Norman Group in April 2019. In November 2018, they acquired a certification in Web Design for Usability from the Interaction Design Foundation (IDF). In October 2018, Caroline also completed a course on Conducting Usability Testing from The Interaction Design Foundation. Lastly, they received a Certification of Membership from The Interaction Design Foundation in August 2018.
