Hugo Ideler

Hugo Ideler has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Hugo is currently the Head of Engineering and CISO at Roseman Labs, where they lead engineering efforts for on-prem and SaaS deployments and focuses on automation, scalability, and information security. Prior to this role, they were a DevOps Lead at Roseman Labs, responsible for the successful deployment of RL software at launching customers and developing customized solutions.

Before joining Roseman Labs, Hugo worked at Deloitte Nederland as a Senior Manager, Manager, and Jr. Manager in Cyber Risk Services from 2013 to 2021. Hugo also worked as a Researcher/Developer for Cryptography as a Service at the Center for Advanced Security Research Darmstadt (CASED) in 2012.

Additionally, Hugo held the position of Member of Funds Committee at Universiteitsfonds Eindhoven (UF/e) from 2009 to 2012, where they made collaborative decisions on granting subsidies to student organizations and conducted applicant interviews. Hugo also worked as an Intern on Trustworthy Cloud Computing at Philips Research in 2011 and as a Software Developer at TU/e Innovation Lab from 2008 to 2011. Hugo started their career as the Secretary of the Board at a.s.v. SSRE in 2008.

Hugo Ideler has a strong background in computer science. Hugo pursued their Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Computer Science from Eindhoven University of Technology, attending from 2005 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed their VWO (pre-university education) at Augustinianum, where the field of study is not specified, between 1999 and 2005.
