Niek J. Bouman

Niek J. Bouman has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and research fields. Niek J. is currently the CTO and Founder of Roseman Labs since December 2019. Prior to this, they worked as a Post-Doctoral Researcher in Secure Multiparty Computation at Eindhoven University of Technology from April 2017 to December 2019. Niek also served as a Senior Researcher in Information Theory, Security, and Machine Learning with 'Big Data' at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. in 2016. Niek J. was a Post-Doctoral Researcher in Smart Grids at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) from 2014 to 2016. Niek J. completed their PhD at Centrum voor Wiskunde en Informatica as a PhD student from October 2008 to December 2012. Niek worked as a Consultant at Kandou Bus, S.A. in 2011 and as a Researcher/Project Engineer at the University of Twente from November 2007 to February 2008. Niek J. also gained internship experience at IBM Zurich Research Laboratory in 2006 and worked as a Consultant at Oce in 2004.

Niek J. Bouman obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Mathematics from Leiden University between the years 2008 and 2012. Prior to that, they pursued their undergraduate and graduate studies at the University of Twente from 2001 to 2007, earning both a Master of Science (MSc) and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Electrical Engineering.
