Tom Hemmes

Tom Hemmes has a diverse work experience with different roles in various companies since 2015. Tom'smost recent job is as a DevOps Engineer at Roseman Labs since June 2023. Prior to that, Hemmes worked as a Software Engineer at Lightyear from August 2022 to March 2023 and as a Software Engineer/Tech Lead at Walker & Dunlop from February 2022 to August 2022. Tom also worked at GeoPhy as a Software Engineer from August 2020 to February 2022 and as a Data Engineer from November 2018 to August 2020. Hemmes co-founded Portaal Technologies in 2019 and worked as a Co-Founder from January to December 2019. Tom also worked as a Graduate Student Intern at TNO from July 2017 to April 2018 and as an Intern GIS Developer at GeoPhy HQ from September 2016 to February 2017. Hemmes also has experience in external affairs and acquisition at D.B.S.G Stylos, where they worked as a Commissioner of External Affairs from September 2015 to September 2016 and as an Acquisition Commissioner for BAU Career event from August 2014 to September 2015. Tom also served as a board member of KIVI afdeling Bouw from September 2015 to September 2016, and as a Co-Founder of GEOS (study association geomatics) from March 2015 to September 2016.

Tom Hemmes completed their VWO in Natuur & Techniek at Scholengemeenschap Amersfoortse Berg in the years 2005 to 2011. Tom then went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture and the Built Environment from Delft University of Technology between 2011 and 2014. After that, they pursued a Master's Degree in Geomatic Engineering from the same institution, studying there from 2014 until 2018.
