Counsellor To Finance Director at Rosneft

Nikita Tolstikov has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Nikita started their career as an in-house lawyer at Aeroflot - Russian Airlines, specializing in international law, from August 2001 to May 2002. Nikita then worked as an in-house lawyer at CJSC “Sakhalin Projects,” a subsidiary of Rosneft Group, responsible for managing the company’s off-shore E&P projects from May 2002 to August 2003. Following this, Nikita joined KFK-Alliance, a Russian law firm specializing in corporate, commercial, and oil & gas matters, as an Associate from September 2003 to January 2007. Nikita was then appointed as the Chief Legal and Corporate Finance at CJSC “Eurotek” for a brief period from February 2007 to August 2007. Nikita’s career at Rosneft began in September 2007, where they held various roles, including Head of Foreign Assets Unit and Deputy Director of the Department for Property and Corporate Affairs, Head of Foreign Assets Unit, responsible for M&A and JV projects, corporate governance, and multinational structures of companies. Nikita'smost recent role at Rosneft was as a Counsellor to the Finance Director, starting in May 2015.

Nikita Tolstikov has a strong educational background in the field of international commercial law. Nikita obtained a Bachelor of Law degree in International Commercial Law from Moscow State University of International Relations, where they studied from 1996 to 2000. Nikita then went on to pursue a Master's degree in the same field at Moscow State Institute of International Relations, studying there from 2000 to 2001.

In addition to their legal education, Tolstikov further enhanced their expertise in the oil and gas industry. Nikita participated in the Further Training of Staff Programme at Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas (National Research University) from 2014 to 2015, focusing on the Oil & Gas Business field of study.
