Roman Lvov has a diverse work experience in the oil and commodity markets industry. Roman is currently the Head of Business Intelligence, Analytics, and Logistics Optimization at Rosneft's RN-TRANS division since April 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Oil Trading Operations Desk at CJSC ForteInvest from September 2020 to February 2021. From January 2016 to August 2020, Roman held the role of Regional Director of Business Intelligence, Analytics, and Development Commodity Markets at Bureau Veritas. Roman also has experience in business development and e-trading platforms at RTS-tender from 2011 to 2015. Moreover, they worked as the Vice-president of the Crude oil & Petroleum Products Desk at Saint-Petersburg International Mercantile Exchange (SPIMEX) from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Middle Office, Sales Trading Logistics, and Controls at TNK-BP from 2006 to 2009. Additionally, they were involved in business development at LUKOIL Benelux BV from 2002 to 2005 and held various positions, including Head of Crude Oil Operations, Commercial Representative at LUKOIL International from 1993 to 2001.
Roman Lvov's education history begins in 1987 when they enrolled at the Moscow Aviation Institute (National Research University). Roman completed their studies in 1993 and obtained a degree in Engineer-mechanic, specializing in Jet Engines and Utilities. Following this, Roman pursued further education at the Russian Foreign Trade Academy from 1995 to 1997, where they obtained a degree in World Economics.
