Gilbert Magnaye

Gilbert Magnaye has extensive experience in the field of hardware and FPGA development. Gilbert currently works as a Senior Hardware/FPGA Developer at Ross Video since April 2020. Prior to this, they were employed at Xilinx from May 2011 to March 2020, where they served as a Systems Engineering Section Manager. In this role, they designed and implemented high-speed embedded video systems, including hardware and software, on Xilinx development boards. Gilbert also worked on the integration and validation of Xilinx video and imaging IPs and developed reference designs for various device family development platforms. Before joining Xilinx, Gilbert worked as an FPGA Design Engineer at Emerson Network Power from July 2009 to April 2011. Gilbert also has experience as a Test Development Engineer at ON Semiconductor from June 2006 to July 2009.

Gilbert Magnaye completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from De La Salle University between the years 2001 and 2005.
