Hadi Abderrahim, M.D., Ph.D., MBA has extensive experience in research and development, strategy, and healthcare. In 2019, they began working as Senior Vice President R&D and Head of Clinical Applications at Roswell Biotechnologies, and as a Partner in the Oncology practice at Innogest Capital. From 2016 to 2018, they were a Strategy Advisor and Strategy Lead for Healthcare and Biomedical at Qatar Foundation Research and Development. During this time, they were responsible for defining strategies within the R&D division, working closely with internal and external stakeholders, and supporting country-wide research efforts. From 2013 to 2016, they were the Managing Director of the Qatar Biobank project, where they oversaw the pilot phase and aimed to recruit the majority of the adult population. Hadi also reduced the organization's budget by half by reviewing operational expenditures and streamlining costs. From 2011 to 2013, they were the Founder and Manager of GBM Consulting, a successful genetics and bio-markers focused consulting company. From 2005 to 2011, they were the Director and Head of Genetics and Biomarkers-Exploratory Medicine Department at Merck Serono, where they managed all biomarker and pharmacogenetics activities. From 1998 to 2005, they were the Director and Head of Genetics and Genomics Platforms at Serono Genetics Institute S.A., where they supervised the set-up and completion of genetics and genomics analysis. From 1993 to 1992, they were a Course Instructor at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory and a Research Scientist at Abgenix.

Hadi Abderrahim, M.D., Ph.D., MBA completed their Executive MBA from HEC Paris in Business, Corporate Social Responsibility and Major Business Perspectives. Hadi then obtained their Ph.D. from University Paris VI, CEPH in Human Genetics. Hadi also earned their Doctor of Medicine - MD from Hospital Necker-Paris in Human Genetics. TheirMedical Doctor Diploma was obtained from Medical Institute of Algiers in General Medicine.
