Karen Wright

Karen was appointed Executive Assistant to the Director & Chief Executive in August 2020, having previously held the positions of Executive Assistant to the Director for Science Innovation, Engagement and Partnerships (SIEP), Personal Assistant to the Associate Director for Science Innovation and Personal Assistant to the Head of AgroEcology/leader of the Cropping Carbon Instituate Strategic Programme. Before joining Rothamsted Research in 2013, Karen’s career had been in the private sector, with 19 years’ experience as a personal assistant at board level, 8 years’ management experience leading a design studio within a corporate events and communications agency, and roles in internal communications and marketing.
