Matt Goodwin

Matt Goodwin is currently serving as a Marketing and Communications Officer at Barnsley Hospice since September 2024. With a diverse background, Matt has held the position of Corporate Host and Football Commentator at Rotherham United Football Club since January 2017. Prior to this, Matt worked as an External Communications Officer (North) at Macmillan Cancer Support from September 2019 to August 2024, and has experience as a Freelance Football Writer from August 2017 to July 2021. Additional roles include Learning Support Assistant at Dearne Valley College, Web Officer at Children's Food Trust, and Press and Media Manager at Barnsley Football Club. Matt attained a degree in Sports Journalism and The Media from The University of Huddersfield, completing studies from 2007 to 2010.
