Montecarla Montoya has a diverse work experience in quality engineering and testing roles. From 2022 to the present, they worked as a Senior Product Quality Engineer at Zimplistic Inventions, where they were responsible for creating test plans, driving reliability testing, and documenting hardware test results. Prior to that, from 2018 to 2022, they worked as a Test Validation Engineer at the same company, focusing on creating test plans, executing accelerated life tests, and implementing hardware test requirements.
Before joining Zimplistic Inventions, Montecarla worked at Western Digital from 2014 to 2018 as a Test Engineer. Montecarla'sresponsibilities included test planning, data analysis, and monitoring tester and data quality using statistical process control and other quality control tools.
Montecarla also has previous experience at Panasonic, where they worked from 2011 to 2014 as a Senior Write Strategy Engineer. In this role, they dealt with RF signals for write strategy in newly developed models, conducted design reviews and failure analysis, and monitored product quality using statistical process control and other quality control tools.
Montecarla Montoya, CLSSYB, obtained their Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Colegio de San Juan de Letran Calamba. Montecarla attended the college from 2005 to 2010. In addition to their bachelor's degree, Montecarla has also obtained several certifications. In October 2019, they received a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification from NUS School of Continuing and Lifelong Education (SCALE). Later, in December 2022, they obtained a Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certification from Six Sigma PH. Most recently, in January 2023, Montecarla achieved their Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification from Six Sigma PH.
