Max Gutberlet

Max Gutberlet has a diverse range of work experience in various industries and roles. Currently, they are the Chief Information Security Officer at Rotkäppchen-Mumm Sektkellereien GmbH, where they are responsible for defining the IT security strategy and building a new IT security management system. Prior to this, Max worked at Honeywell, leading various teams and executing growth projects in the gas distribution and marketing sectors. Max also has experience in gas solutions marketing at Itron, product and strategic marketing at Hughes Network Systems GmbH, and sales management at Compusys and Quant-X GmbH. Max began their career as a senior system engineer at Open-IT Informationsmanagement GmbH & Co KG and a senior internet engineer at Net4You Internet GesmbH. Max also conducted scientific research at the University Klagenfurt, focusing on hypertext and hypermedia systems. Their early experience includes senior systems engineering at CHS Computer, specializing in PC assembly and LAN networking.

Max Gutberlet received their Bachelor's equivalent degree in Applied Computer Science from Universität Klagenfurt, where they studied from 1988 to 1994. Prior to that, they obtained their Matura degree in Natural Sciences from Ingeborg Bachman Gymnasium in Klagenfurt, Austria, between 1983 and 1988. In addition to their formal education, Max also attained certifications in various fields, including Leading at a Distance, Scrum: Advanced and Scrum: The Basics from LinkedIn, as well as certifications in CEH and CISSP from EC-Council and (ISC)² respectively. Max also acquired expertise in Product Marketing through a certification from Tarigo Ltd.
