Gavin Waxkirsh

Founder & Chief Design Officer at RotoVR

Gavin Waxkirsh has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. Gavin is the Founder of Camden Games, a role they began in 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Founder and Chief Design Officer of RotoVR, a consumer electronics and technology company specializing in virtual reality, augmented reality, and mixed realities. At RotoVR, they designed the Roto VR chair, a platform for consuming 360 content.

Before RotoVR, Gavin was the Managing Director of GW Development Ltd, a UK design and development company. Gavin worked with large and small companies as well as individual inventors, providing practical solutions to bring new ideas to market. Additionally, Gavin owned and managed a Hong Kong manufacturing company under GW Development Ltd, specializing in toys, games, electronics, collectibles, promotions, and premiums.

Gavin also held the position of Head of Production at NPD Partnership Ltd from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Research and Development at ALL IN 1 PRODUCTS (Toys and Games) from 2007 to 2012.

Gavin's early career included the role of Senior Brand Manager at VIVID IMAGINATIONS LIMITED from 1999 to 2001, and Brand Development Manager at Mattel, Inc. from 1994 to 1999. At Mattel, they led the award-winning redesign of the SCRABBLE Brand worldwide.

Gavin Waxkirsh attended the University of the West of England from 1988 to 1992, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree (BA Hons) in Graphic Design.
