Jon Pleece

Jon Pleece has a strong background in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) management. Jon currently holds the position of Global Head of HSE at Rotork since March 2022, where they have successfully implemented the Global HSE program for COVID-19, resulting in zero onsite virus transmissions. Jon is also responsible for developing and implementing new global standards and frameworks.

Prior to their role at Rotork, Jon worked at Johnson Controls from October 2012 to April 2020 as an EHSQ/EHS Manager. During their tenure, they provided strategic guidance to UK and Swedish manufacturing sites, transforming it from the third worst performing business to the best within two years. Jon also wrote one of the first integrated ISO 45001, 14001, and 9001 business management systems in the UK.

Jon's earlier experience includes working at Doncasters Group Limited as EHS UK Operations Manager from September 2011 to September 2012. In this role, they led a team to improve the EHS performance of the engine blade manufacturing group, achieving significant progress from being one of the worst performing to the top 5.

Jon started their career at Envirowales Limited as an EHS Advisor from January 2011 to September 2011. Jon focused on improving the risk assessment, safe working methods, and implementing cultural change in a challenging lead recycling environment. Jon also achieved key performance indicators such as reducing accidents and lowering lead levels in blood results.

Overall, Jon Pleece has a track record of successful HSE management, strategic planning, and implementing effective programs to improve health and safety performance in various industries.

Jon Pleece earned a NEBOSH Level 6 Diploma in Health and Safety from NEBOSH Dip in 2009-2010.
