Mike Evans

Mike Evans has extensive experience in research, development, and innovation within the field of industrial valve actuation, currently serving as Research & Innovation Manager at Rotork since January 2009, after holding roles as Principal Research Engineer and Senior Mechanical Design Engineer. Prior to this, Mike held the position of Research Associate at the Space Research Centre at the University of Leicester from March 2007 to December 2008, and worked as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at ALSTEC LIMITED from January 2001 to March 2007. Academically, Mike holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from the University of Bath, focusing on wear and efficiency mechanisms in polyoxymethylene spur gears, and a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from De Montfort University, completed in 2002.
