Alan McCabe

Alan McCabe is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various companies. Currently serving as Chief Technical Officer at Roubler since November 2016, Alan has been instrumental in providing strategic IT direction, overhauling software processes, and managing service delivery for significant implementations across multiple regions. Previously, Alan held the position of Deputy Chief Operating Officer at Software Group BG Ltd, where responsibilities included executing long-term technology strategies and stakeholder management for major clients in the Pacific and Southeast Asia. Alan's earlier roles included Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director for Asia/Pacific at Fern Software, where achievements featured the successful expansion of the company and recognition as Queensland Young Entrepreneur of the Year. Alan began a career in academia as a lecturer at James Cook University, where a PhD in Information Technology was obtained, alongside foundational degrees in Computer Science.
