Michael Carroll has a diverse work experience in the manufacturing industry. Michael started their career at Heckethorn Manufacturing as a Tool and Die Intern, where they worked directly with Greg Palmer to learn machine tool processes and build tooling for presses. Michael then became a CNC Machinist and Tool and Die technician at the same company. After that, they joined Heckethorn Manufacturing Co., Inc. as a Mechanical Engineer. In this role, they designed automotive exhaust rod hangers, performed press tool design, CNC programming, and machining. Michael also worked on hydraulic systems, punch press tools, progressive dies, fixtures, and gauges, collaborating with OEM suppliers like GM, Ford, Daimler, and Tenneco.
