Mahdi Hejazi has a diverse work experience. Mahdi started their career as an Industrial Engineer at the Royal Saudi Naval Force in December 2017, where they worked until December 2018. Mahdi then moved to PRINCE SULTAN DEFENSE STUDIES & RESEARCH CENTER, where they held multiple roles, including Industrial Engineer from December 2017 to July 2019, Deputy Manager of the Anti-Drone Systems Program from August 2019 to February 2020, and Assistant Manager of the Radar & EW Systems Department from February 2020 to December 2021. Currently, they are working at Rua Al Madinah Holding Company as part of the Enterprise Project Management Office since February 2022.

Mahdi Hejazi has a Master's degree in Engineering Management from the University of Jeddah. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Industrial Engineering from Lamar University.

In addition to their formal education, Mahdi has acquired various certifications in different fields. Mahdi completed a course in System Thinking at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in November 2021. Mahdi also obtained a certification in ASQ Introduction to Quality Engineering from BMC Training. Additionally, they have certifications in Construction Quality Inspection from the Saudi Real Estate Institute, Decision Making Strategies from the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, Entrepreneurship and Project Management from Qiyas | National Center for Assessment, Fundamentals of Management from Doroob, Managing Technical Projects from Project Performance International (PPI), Microsoft Project and Oracle Primavera P6 from Knowledge Gate Training Center (KGT), and PMP - Project Management Professional (PMP)® from Human Resources Professional Training Center. Furthermore, they have completed a certification in Secondary Surveillance Radar (SSR) / Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) from Tellumat and a course in Supply Chain Excellence: Leading and Managing the Extended Enterprise Forum from Lawrence Technological University.
