Vivienne Newton

RAF Association Volunteer at Royal Air Forces Association

Vivienne Newton is an accomplished academic and community leader with extensive experience in educational and student engagement roles. Currently serving as a RAF Association Volunteer since January 2017, Vivienne's prior experience includes a PhD candidacy at The University of Bolton, focusing on learner identity and institutional habitus, resulting in a published peer-reviewed article. Leadership roles at Bolton Student's Union include President, Director, and Trustee, where strategic development for student representation was overseen, as well as serving as Community Engagement Coordinator to enhance student involvement in various activities. Additionally, as an Assistant Student Liaison Officer, Vivienne successfully promoted participation in peer mentoring and developed educational resources. Vivienne holds a Master's degree in Education, a PGDE M in Education, and a Bachelor's degree in Youth & Community Studies from The University of Bolton.
