Margaret Wilsher

Margaret Wilsher serves as a Board Member at PHARMAC since July 2023 and has held multiple prominent roles at Te Whatu Ora | Te Toka Tumai Auckland, including Respiratory Physician and Chief Medical Officer, since October 1988. Additionally, Margaret is an Honorary and Associate Professor at The University of Auckland since 2010, and a Respiratory Physician at Auckland Medical Specialists since 2008. Other significant contributions include being a Member of the Board of Trustees for the Auckland Health Foundation until December 2023, as well as involvement with the Ministry of Health New Zealand from 2010 to 2023 in various capacities. Margaret's educational background features degrees in Medicine from the University of Otago, as well as fellowships from the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators.
