Gary Tamura

Gary Tamura is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in corporate and regulatory law, currently serving as Vice President & Associate General Counsel at RBC since April 2023. Prior to this role, Gary held various positions at RBC Capital Markets, including Managing Director & Assistant General Counsel and Director & Chief Counsel for the Asia Pacific region. Gary's legal career began at the Ontario Securities Commission as Counsel in Corporate Finance, and also includes roles at TSX Group, Stikeman Elliott LLP, and several significant positions within RBC from 2003 to 2018. Gary holds degrees from the University of Toronto and York University - Osgoode Hall Law School.
