Matt C.

Matt C. is a seasoned professional in information governance and data protection, currently serving as the Data Protection Manager at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew since June 2024. Prior to this role, Matt held the position of Information Governance Manager at The British Museum, where responsibilities included acting as the Data Protection Officer and overseeing Freedom of Information. Previous experience encompasses roles at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust and Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, as well as various positions within local government, focusing on data protection and information compliance. Matt's educational background includes a Postgraduate Certificate in Data Protection Law and Information Governance from Northumbria University and a BA (Hons) in English and Creative Writing from the University of Plymouth.
