John Montoya

John Montoya is an experienced technology executive currently serving as VP of Commercial IT Products at Royal Caribbean Group since September 2023. Prior to this, John held various leadership roles, including Executive Director Equipment Finance and Rail Technology at First Citizens Bank, where responsibilities included integrating and digitizing multiple legacy systems. John also has extensive experience from PwC as Director and Global-US IT Technology Leader, where a global data platform was operationalized. At GE Capital, John progressed through several vice president roles, overseeing digital operations, data platforms, and leasing integration while managing substantial budgets and large teams. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Finance from Sacred Heart University and a Bachelor of Science in Health Systems Management from the University of Connecticut.
