Aleysha Martin

Aleysha Martin is an experienced occupational therapist currently undertaking a research internship at the Royal College of Occupational Therapists, focusing on priorities for occupational therapy research. Aleysha serves as a council member for the Brisbane South Primary Health Network, representing allied health and contributing to healthcare assessments and resource allocation. With a long-term position as an Acute Stroke Occupational Therapist at Mater Health Services, Aleysha manages complex patient cases while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance discharge planning. Previous roles include treating residents at W&L Aged Care Services, providing paediatric therapy tutoring, and completing varied student placements across community and rehabilitation settings. Aleysha holds a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honors) and is pursuing a PhD in Health Services Research at the University of Queensland.
