Rebecca Martin

Rebecca Martin has a diverse work experience in event management and learning innovation. Rebecca is currently serving as the Head of Learning Innovation at The Royal College of Surgeons of England since July 2019. Prior to this, they worked at ICAEW from July 2016 to July 2019 as the Public Course Delivery Manager, Academy. Rebecca also held the positions of Event Manager, Events Executive/Team Leader, Technical, and Events Executive during their tenure at ICAEW.

Rebecca has previous experience as an Events Manager at Rainbow Productions Ltd from September 2010 to March 2013, where they managed various events and appearances. Rebecca also had a secondment position as the Mascot Project Manager at London 2012, where they worked on the Olympic Mascot Programme for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games from February 2012 to September 2012.

Additionally, Rebecca worked as an Events Assistant at The Faculty and Institute of Actuaries from December 2008 to September 2010. Prior to that, they gained experience as an Event Assistant at The British Motorcycle Federation from April 2008 to July 2008.

Rebecca has demonstrated skills in managing events, coordinating logistics, training staff and volunteers, financial reconciliation, and sponsor communication.

Rebecca Martin's education history begins with their time at Bedford High School from 1996 to 2001. There, they obtained their GCSE's, including English, and focused their studies on mathematics and science.

Following their high school education, Rebecca attended Wigan and Leigh College from 2001 to 2003, where they pursued A-Levels in Performing Arts. Their field of study included English Literature and Psychology.

In 2004, Rebecca enrolled at the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts, where they obtained their Diploma in Dance. Rebecca completed their studies at Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts in 2005.

From 2005 to 2008, Rebecca studied Arts Management at De Montfort University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree.

Recently, in August 2023, Rebecca obtained certification as a DISC Certified professional from The Coaching Academy.
