Research Officer : Cardiology Club at RCSI Bahrain

Insiya Saifudeen is an accomplished professional with diverse experience in healthcare and community service. Currently serving as the Head of Human Resources at the International Federation of Medical Students Associations (IFMSA) in Bahrain, Insiya engages with a global network of medical students. Additionally, Insiya holds the position of Research Officer in the Cardiology Club at RCSI Bahrain, focusing on bridging research opportunities for students. As Head of the Youth Club at the Sri Lankan Welfare Association - SAHANA, Insiya motivates young leaders to contribute positively to society. Insiya also founded Sahaa, a virtual healthcare platform dedicated to combating misinformation during the pandemic. Previous experiences include internships and observational roles in various medical departments and a co-hosting engagement in a podcast discussing the implications of social media. Insiya is pursuing a degree at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, having completed earlier education at Dubai Gem Private School.
