Marius Ronning

Marius Ronning has had extensive experience in the production and management of various theatrical and opera companies. Marius worked as the Head of Production at the Royal Court Theatre from December 2016, and prior to that, as a Production Manager from January 2016 to November 2016. Marius also served as a Production Manager at the National Theatre from January 2015 to January 2016. Additionally, they worked as a Production Manager at multiple companies including Freelance (2014-2015), English Touring Opera (2013-2014), and Theatre Royal Stratford East (2014). Marius held the position of Deputy Production Manager at the National Theatre from January 2011 to November 2013. Before that, they served as the Technical Director at Tete a Tete Opera Company from January 2007 to February 2011. Lastly, they worked as a Production Manager and Stage Manager in various freelance roles from January 2001 to January 2011, where they handled stage management responsibilities for opera, theatre, events, and music productions for clients such as the Royal Court Theatre and Hampstead Theatre.

Marius Ronning attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art from 1999 to 2001. During their time there, they earned a RADA Dip with Distinction in Technical Theatre and Stage Management. After completing their studies at RADA, Marius Ronning enrolled at NTNU in Trondheim for an unknown period, without pursuing a specific degree or field of study. In terms of additional certifications, Marius Ronning obtained the Mobile Vertical (3a) and Mobile Boom (3b) certifications from the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) in May 2015. Marius also earned the IOSH Managing Safely for Theatre & Production certification from the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) in March 2015.
