Lucie Geurts

Lucie Geurts is a Domain Manager for Human Factors & Medicine at the Royal Higher Institute for Defence since November 2021. Previously, Lucie served as the Scientific Unit Coordinator at ILSI Europe from June 2016 to November 2021, where responsibilities included the management and coordination of projects in nutrition, brain health, and sensory science, as well as the development of scientific publications. Lucie also held the position of Scientific Project Manager at ILSI Europe, a foundation dedicated to advancing knowledge on nutrition and food safety. Prior experience includes positions as a Post Doctoral Researcher and Teaching Assistant at Université catholique de Louvain from September 2010 to May 2016, specializing in biology and histology. Lucie earned a PhD in Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Sciences from Université catholique de Louvain in 2015, as well as a Master's in Biomedical Sciences with a focus on Human Nutrition and a Bachelor's in Biomedical Sciences from Université de Namur and Institut Saint-Dominique, respectively.
