Dr Holly Hurn

Principal Clinical Psychologist at Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability

Dr. Holly Hurn has extensive experience in the field of clinical psychology, specializing in neuropsychology and neurorehabilitation. Dr Holly started their career as a Trainee Clinical Psychologist in the NHS in 2010, where they worked for three years. Dr Holly then joined the UK Ministry of Defence in 2014 as the Lead Clinical Psychologist, focusing on mild traumatic brain injuries and neurorehabilitation. In 2019, they became a Clinical Supervisor in Neuropsychology for the same organization. In 2018, they joined the Queen Elizabeth's Foundation for Disabled People as the Lead Clinical Psychologist in Neuropsychology. Currently, they are serving as the Principal Clinical Psychologist at the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability.

Dr. Holly Hurn has a diverse education history. Dr Holly started by obtaining a Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons.) degree in Psychology from the University of York in 2003. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in War & Psychiatry from King's College London, completing it in 2008. In 2010, Dr. Hurn enrolled in a Doctorate program in Clinical Psychology at UCL, which they successfully completed in 2013. In that same year, they also obtained a Foundation Level certification in Clinical Hypnosis from BSCAH. Additionally, they have furthered their knowledge in Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET) through a program at the Institute of Psychotrauma in 2010.
