Geoff Ranson

Geoff Ranson has extensive work experience in risk management, audit, and accounting roles. Geoff currently holds the position of Global Director of Risk and Audit at Royal Mail since 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Asda in various senior director roles, including Business Transformation, Internal Audit and Risk, and Accounting and Compliance. Geoff also has experience at EY, where they established and led the Financial Accounting Advisory practice across the UK. Geoff started their career at Arthur Andersen as a Senior Audit Manager, working on external audits and non-audit engagements.

Geoff Ranson obtained a BSc Hons 1st Class degree in Mathematics from Durham University between 1993 and 1996. Prior to that, from 1990 to 1993, they studied Mathematics (A), Further Mathematics (A), Physics (A), and Economics (A) at Stockton Sixth Form College.
