Michael Rickard

Michael Rickard has extensive work experience in finance and regulatory reporting. Michael started their career at Shell as a finance manager before moving on to BT, where they held various senior finance management roles. At BT, Rickard was responsible for strategic financial projects, commercial finance, and financial analysis. Michael also worked at Openreach as the Head of Finance for Products and later as the Head of Regulatory Finance. In their most recent role at Royal Mail, Rickard served as the Head of Regulatory Finance, where they were responsible for providing regulatory financial reporting information to Ofcom and ensuring compliance with reporting obligations. Throughout their career, Rickard has demonstrated a track record of delivering cost savings and efficiencies, driving business performance, and providing financial insight and analysis.

Michael Rickard completed their Masters in Economics at the University of Cambridge from 1988 to 1991. Michael then pursued a degree in Telecommunications Business at UCL from 2003 to 2005.
