Monika Jankowiak is an accomplished conservator with extensive experience in the field of art conservation. Currently serving as a conservator at the Royal Ontario Museum since July 2023, Monika previously held various roles at the museum, including contract conservator, where several significant artifacts were treated. As the owner and art conservator at Art Conservation Toronto since August 2011, Monika specializes in object treatment, storage design, and exhibit consultation. Additional experience includes roles at the Saint Louis Art Museum, Historic New England, and the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, where Monika worked on a diverse range of artifacts and contributed to multiple exhibitions. Monika holds a Master's degree in Art Conservation from the University at Buffalo and a Bachelor's degree in Art History and German from Grinnell College.
