Clare Grotefeld

Clare Grotefeld is a professional artist and designer/fabricator with extensive experience in metalwork, special effects prop making, model making, and sculpture. As the founder of Creativefabrications since 2015, Clare has been instrumental in designing and fabricating bespoke original art and sculptures. Engagements at the Royal Opera House and involvement in numerous theatrical and film projects bolster a diverse portfolio that includes notable works in set construction and metal work for productions like Glyndebourne’s "Rusalka" and "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang." Academic qualifications include degrees from the Royal College of Art and Camberwell College of Arts, alongside teaching experience as a sessional lecturer at Greater Brighton Metropolitan College. Clare's commitment to the arts is also reflected in freelance work and project management roles across various companies and productions.
