Shashika Wickramasinghe

Shashika Wickramasinghe is an accomplished hospitality professional with extensive experience in hotel management. Currently serving as General Manager at Royal Orchid Hotels since July 2023, Shashika has held positions including Hotel Manager at the same organization and Front Office Manager at Barcelo Hotel Group, Adaaran Resorts - Maldives, The Standard Hotels, and Hulhule Island Hotel. Prior experience includes roles at Wonder Hotel Colombo as Rooms Division Manager and at ÀNI - A Collection of Private Resorts as Resort Administrator. Shashika began a career in hospitality at Sun Aqua Pasikudah as Front Office Manager and has a strong background as Assistant Front Office Manager at Uga Escapes, where involvement included the pre-opening phase of Jungle Beach by Uga Escapes. Educational qualifications include a degree in Hospitality Management from the Sri Lanka Institute of Tourism & Hotel Management and further studies in Hospitality Management and Administration from Alison and AHLEI.
