Content Director (interim) at Royal Pharmaceutical Society

Kate Towers has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Kate began their career at St Vincent's Hospital as a Clinical Pharmacist from 2007 to 2009, and then they took on the role of Acting Drug Use Evaluation Pharmacist from 2009 to 2010. Kate then joined Pharmaceutical Press as an Assistant Editor for Clinical Pharmacist from 2010 to 2012. Kate then moved to the Royal Pharmaceutical Society, where they held various positions including Clinical Writer for the British National Formulary from 2012 to 2014, Senior Clinical Writer and Acting Digital Product Manager from 2014 to 2014, Head of Content for BNF Publications from 2014 to 2020, and Associate Content Director for BNF Publications from 2020 to 2023. Currently, they are serving as the Content Director (Interim) at the Royal Pharmaceutical Society.

Kate Towers attended the University of Sydney from 2002 to 2005 where they earned a Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) degree in the field of Pharmacy. Kate also pursued further education at The University of Queensland, obtaining a Graduate Certificate in Clinical Pharmacy. No specific start or end dates were provided for this program.
