Pooja Bharucha

Pooja Bharucha currently serves as the Lead Pharmacist for Children and Women at St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust since June 2023. Concurrently, Pooja holds multiple positions within professional organizations, including the lead for standards and consultations and education lead for online events at the United Kingdom Clinical Pharmacy Association, and question developer for the Royal Pharmaceutical Society. Prior experience includes roles as a Specialist Clinical Pharmacist in Paediatrics at University College London Hospitals, Visiting Lecturer at Aston University, and Children and Young People’s Pharmacist at Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals. Pooja began a career trajectory that included rotations at Great Ormond Street Hospital, focusing on various specialties, and previous positions as a Rotational Pharmacist at Mid Essex Health Services NHS Trust. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Pharmacy from the University of Kent and a Diploma in Pharmacy Practice from Keele University, along with designation as an Education Supervisor from ProPharmace.
