Anne van Dijk

Anne van Dijk has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Anne currently works as the Director of Operations at Royal SMIT Transformers B.V. and their role began in May 2022. Prior to this, Anne worked at Damen, where they held various managerial positions such as Manager of Projects, Manager of Project Management Office (PMO), Manager of Yard Support Department, and Manager of Technical Support Department. Their responsibilities included leading teams, coordinating projects, and ensuring successful execution. Before joining Damen, Anne served in the Koninklijke Marine as a Commanding Officer and Executive Officer. Anne also worked as a Business Architect at Defensie Materieel Organisatie from 2006 to 2009. Anne's work experience showcases their expertise in project management, operations, and leadership.

Anne van Dijk completed an MSc in Navigation Technology at the University of Nottingham from 2004 to 2007. Prior to that, they pursued Information Technology studies at Delft University of Technology from 1998 to 1999. Anne also attended the Royal Netherlands Naval Academy from 1994 to 1999, where they studied Maritime business administration, earning a BSc degree. Anne also completed a Management Development Program with the Royal Netherlands Navy. Additionally, they obtained certifications in New Ship Construction (from Lloyd's Register), Prince2 Project Management (from APM Group), Prosci ADKAR Change Management (from Prosci), Reflector Big Five Personality Assessments (from GITP), and VCA-VOL.
